Justin “Rocky” MacDonald

Divers recovered the body of Justin “Rocky” MacDonald, 42, on Monday

A body recovered from the Ohio River this week has been identified as a missing Spencer County man. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

The Warrick County Coroner's Office says the body pulled from the river near the Newburgh Lock and Dam on Monday was that of 42-year-old Justin “Rocky” MacDonald.

An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday.

MacDonald was reported missing from French Island Marina near the Warrick-Spencer county line last week.

There was no word of foul play.

Authorities from both Kentucky and Indiana took part in the recovery.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is expected to conduct its own investigation.
