Nut Club Distributes More than $700,000

WSNC

Proceeds from last year's Fall Festival went to schools, youth programs and other non-profits

The West Side Nut Club has celebrated what it calls a “monumental milestone.” WNIN’s John Gibson reports:

At its annual Founder's Day event at Burdette Park Tuesday night, the club marked the largest distribution of funds in its history.

More than $700,000 was passed along to local organizations, including youth programs, schools, youth sports, and nonprofits.

The club says the distribution is part of more than $800,000 of total giving this year.

As the next Fall Festival approaches, the Nut Club says it looks forward to
“continuing its tradition of generosity and making an even greater impact in the years to come.”

The 103rd Fall Festival will run from October 7th through the12th on West Franklin Street in Evansville.
