The Downtown Evansville Economic Improvement District has launched a new awards program. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
The DTEVVs will recognize achievements in four categories with nominations now open for two: the Good Neighbor Award and the Economic Impact Award.
The Good Neighbor must be a business or organization that has gone above and beyond to contribute to the growth and progression of Downtown Evansville.
The Economic Impact award will go to a business that makes positive contributions to the economic vitality of Downtown Evansville via employment opportunities, advocacy, supporting development, and generating consumer spending.
To qualify, businesses must be located within the boundaries of the Economic Improvement District.
Nominations can be made online here.
Recipients for the remaining two awards, Face of Downtown and Volunteer of the Year, will be selected from the EID’s monthly Faces of Downtown and volunteers who have helped at EID events throughout the past year.
