The University of Evansville has expanded an admission agreement with Vincennes University. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
UE says the Guaranteed Admission Agreement enhances the pathway for VU students to seamlessly transition to UE.
The 2022 agreement was originally designed to facilitate the transfer of VU students into engineering programs at UE.
Now, the partnership has broadened to include all applicable VU academic programs leading to bachelor's degrees at UE -- with the exception of a few select majors and specialty degree programs.
To be guaranteed admission to UE, students at VU must complete an Associate of Science degree and graduate from VU with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
Students will also receive a minimum academic scholarship of $10,000 per semester for up to five semesters.
Higher awards and additional scholarships may be available based on GPA and accomplishments.
The new offer takes effect in fall 2025.
