File

Authorities say they do not suspect foul play and the public is safe

Authorities say they don’t suspect foul play in the discovery of two bodies at Ellis Park. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to the racetrack early Tuesday morning for an unresponsive man.

First responders found a man deceased inside an apartment on the back side of the racetrack.

The sheriff’s office says personnel learned that the man had spent time with another man earlier in the night and they also found that man deceased in his apartment.

The sheriff’s office says investigators don’t suspect foul play and there’s no danger to the public.

Autopsies were planned in Louisville to determine the causes of death.

The names of the deceased have not been released.

It’s not clear if they were track employees.
