Oppressive heat and humidity and the threat of severe storms continue in the Tri-State. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
The National Weather Service say an Excessive Heat Warning continues for the Evansville area Thursday.
The combination of temperatures in the mid-90’s and high dew points could push the heat index as high as 115.
Forecasters also say the risk of severe storms continues.
Damaging winds are the main concern, with hail, heavy rain, and an isolated tornado also possible.
