A jury has convicted an Evansville man of child molesting. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
Vanderburgh County Prosecutor Diana Moers says a jury found Elmer Salazar-Hernandez guilty of two counts of Child Molesting,
His arrest followed a forensic interview at Holly’s House with a juvenile who prosecutors say disclosed their mother’s boyfriend’s brother, Salazar-Hernandez, had sexually abused them when they were the ages of 4 to 5 years old.
The prosecutor says Salazar-Hernandezlived with the child, their mother and mother’s boyfriend at the time of the molestations.
Moers says the victim “bravely testified at the trial.”
