A house fire on Evansville’s West Side has displaced two residents. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
Firefighters were called to the 2800 block of C Street, off Barker Avenue, early Thursday morning.
The first crew on the scene reported heavy smoke coming from the eaves and front door of the single-family home.
EFD Deputy Chief Kim Garrett says firefighters got the blaze under control in about a half-hour.
Garrett says the fire displaced two adults and the Red Cross was notified.
No injuries were reported.
Garrett says the cause of the fire is under investigation.
