Tuesday night's crash at U.S. 41 and Hillsdale Road claimed the life of Terry Magan, 67

Authorities have released the name of the motorcyclist who died in a crash on Highway 41 Tuesday night. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office says 67-year-old Terry Magan of Evansville died after the collision at Highway 41 and Hillsdale Road.

First responders found a car and a motorcycle with heavy damage.

The Sheriff’s Office said Magan was unconscious at the scene.

He was taken to Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, where he later died.

The driver and passenger in the car were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The sheriff’s office says drugs or alcohol were not believed to have been factors in the crash.

The collision and investigation forced authorities to close Highway 41 at Hillsdale for more than two hours.
