Woman Thought to be Victim Arrested

VCSO
Tamatha Lant, 52

Tamatha Lant, 52, is now charged with attacking her boyfriend

Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a woman originally thought to be a victim of domestic violence. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

Deputies arrested 52-year-old Tamatha Lant in connection with Tuesday’s incident at a home on Emma Drive.

Sheriff Noah Robinson says Lant told deputies that her boyfriend, Kenneth Myers, had beaten and confined her.

But when detectives interviewed Myers, they determined it was actually Lant who had assaulted Myers.

She now faces felony charges of Battery with a Deadly Weapon and Intimidation.

Lant is being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail on a $10,000.00 bond.

Deputies released Myers.
