Charges against Kenneth Myers were dropped after an interview with investigators and video evidence

A man wanted for domestic violence, assault and confinement has been located -- and charges against him have been dropped. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office says deputies located Kenneth Myers, after Wednesday’s incident in the 4500 block of Emma Drive.

A woman ran to a neighbor’s house and said that Myers had assaulted her and held her against her will.

The sheriff’s office says Myers provided information to detectives that conflicted with statements made by the victim at the scene.

Investigators say Myers’ statements were corroborated with video evidence from inside the home.

The sheriff’s office says Myers is no longer a suspect in the case and has been released.

But the incident is still under investigation and the Sheriff’s Office says charges are expected at a later time.
