Newburgh’s Town Manager is joining E-REP. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The Evansville Regional Economic Partnership has announced the hiring of Christy Powell as the group’s Community Development Director.
Powell currently serves as the Town Administrative Manager in Newburgh.
She’s also served the City of Boonville and the Warrick County Area Plan Commission,
E-REP says in her new role, Powell will work with local units of government, state and federal departments, local nonprofits, and other economic development groups to attract investments that make the region more attractive to business.
Another goal is to create amenities that improve the lives of area residents.
Powell is a graduate of Texas A&M University.
