GRHD Warns of Fake Calls

File

The calls are made to appear they're coming from the Henderson County Health Center

Officials are warning of telephone calls claiming to be from the Henderson County Health Center. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:

The Green River District Health Department is urging vigilance following reports of phone calls, made to appear as though they’re originating from the Henderson facility.

The department says the callers are misleading residents into setting up appointments to change their Medicare plans.

The Green River District emphasizes that it does not solicit such information over the phone.

The district says calls from the agency strictly pertain to services provided by the district.

Officials say if you receive a suspicious call or you're not sure if you’re speaking to a Green River Health employee, don’t hesitate to terminate the call.

You can ensure the legitimacy of the communication by directly contacting the Henderson County Health Center at 270-827-3951.
