Downtown Dog Park in the Works

EID
Workers begin work on a dog park at 3rd and Ingle streets in Downtown Evansville

The "small-scale" park is being installed at 3rd and Ingle streets

A dog park is coming to Downtown Evansville. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The Downtown Evansville Economic Improvement District says construction is underway on the Earthborn Holistic Pet Nutrition Dog Park.

The small-scale park is being built at Ingle and Third streets, near the Second Language restaurant.

The Improvement District says the park will be free to use and will include small agility items, benches, and a dog waste station.

The EID will be responsible for maintenance and upkeep.

Earthborn Holistic Pet Nutrition is the naming sponsor in recognition of what the EID calls a “generous donation.”

The ribbon cutting is tentatively scheduled for May.

The land is owned by the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility and is leased by the EID.
