A federal task force arrested Adrian Jamal Pam, 33, near Downtown Evansville

A fugitive wanted for a homicide in Mississippi has been apprehended in Evansville. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:

Vanderburgh County Sheriff Noah Robinson says a U.S. Marshals Task Force, including local deputies and state troopers, arrested 33-year-old Adrian Jamal Pam of Greenville, Mississippi on Thursday.

Robinson says Pam surrendered and officers took him into custody without incident at a home in the 800 block of Bellemeade Ave.

Pam had an active felony warrant from Mississippi for Homicide, Attempted Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

It’s not clear how he ended up in Evansville.

Officers took Pam to the Vanderburgh County Detention Center, where he’s awaiting extradition to Greenville, Mississippi.
