Authorities have released the name of the man killed in a head-on crash in Posey County. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
The coroner’s office identifies the victim as 31-year-old Kenneth Vessels of Vincennes.
The Posey County Sheriff’s Office says a vehicle driven by Vessels crossed the centerline on State Road 69 at Smith Mills Road Monday morning and crashed into a vehicle driven by Louis Riecken.
First responders had to extricate Vessels from the wreckage.
They attempted life-saving measures but Vessels was pronounced dead at the scene.
Riecken suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
