The theme park is hiring 2,200 team members

Here’s a harbinger of warmer days: Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari has begun hiring for the 2024 season. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:

The theme park in Santa Claus, Indiana says it needs to fill more than 2,200 positions.

Officials say applications are live and dozens of dates are set for in-person and virtual hiring events.

They say many departments fill up early, especially for 14- and 15-year-olds, so interested candidates are urged to visit HolidayWorld.com/Jobs.

Individuals 16 and older start at $13 an hour.

Park President & CEO Matt Eckert says Holiday World also offers flexible scheduling and perks, including a season pass, 50% off food, employee parties with exclusive ride time, and free access to other amusement parks and attractions in the area.

Holiday World is adding a new attraction this year, the Good Gravy family roller coaster.

The theme park opens in May.
