A woman is accused of killing her boyfriend in Tell City. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:
Authorities responded to a 9-1-1 call Saturday night, when a woman told Perry County dispatchers that her boyfriend had just been shot.
Indiana State Police say officers arrived on the scene and found Aaron Waninger unresponsive.
Officers attempted life-saving measures but were unsuccessful and Waninger was pronounced dead.
The ISP says detectives determined 51-year-old Tonya Coomer had shot Waninger.
Officers arrested Coomer and took her to the Perry County jail where she’s being held without bond.
She faces charges of Murder and Criminal Recklessness with a Firearm.
