The second of two inmates who escaped the Webster County jail is back in custody. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The county’s sheriff’s office says deputies found Jodie Crowley in an outbuilding on a property in Sebree early Friday morning.
On its Facebook page, the Webster County Sheriff’s Office says Crowley initially refused to surrender until a deputy prepared to deploy a K-9 named Bane.
The sheriff’s office says Crowley then identified himself and surrendered to the deputies.
Crowley and Tony Elders were reported missing from the Webster County jail Sunday morning.
Police captured Elders a couple of hours later near Dixon, but Crowley remained at large until Friday morning.
Crowley faces charges including Escape, Parole Violation, and Possession of Marijuana.
