A missing Evansville teen has been found unharmed. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
Evansville Police says Danica Short was located and is safe.
The 15-year-old had been missing since the night of December 10th, when she left the Hillcrest Youth Home on Barker Avenue and didn’t return.
There was no word from EPD Sgt. Taylor Merriss on where Short has been staying for nearly two weeks.
She was found less than 24 hours after the state issued a Silver Alert for her.
Evansville Police asked the state to issue the alert.
