The Warrick Sheriff says there's no risk to the public after the shooting of William Gates

A man is dead after a weekend shooting in Warrick County. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:

Sheriff Michael Wilder says it happened Saturday morning at 8333 State Road 161 in Tennyson.

First responders found a deceased man inside the house, and other subjects outside.

The deceased was identified as 52-year-old William Joseph Gates of Tennyson.

Wilder says deputies interviewed all the parties involved and Indiana State Police assisted, but no arrests were made in Gates’ death.

The sheriff said the public was not at risk and police were not looking for any suspects.
