Police say no charges will be filed in connection with a fatal accident at the Henderson Walmart. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
The HPD says 78-year-old Carl Powell was leaving the store Sunday afternoon when he was hit a by a vehicle on the parking lot.
Powell was transported to Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, where he later died.
The HPD says officers reviewed surveillance footage showing Powell exiting the Wal-Mart.
They say the vehicle was making a left turn and struck Powell at a low speed.
Police say the investigation determined no criminal charges would be filed against the driver of the vehicle.
