Indiana State Police arrested two women for allegedly having more than ten pounds of meth in their car on I-64. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:
The ISP says a trooper stopped the car traveling at 88 miles-an-hour on the interstate in Posey County Monday afternoon.
When the trooper approached the vehicle, he detected an odor of cannabis coming from inside.
The ISP says during a search, the trooper found more than 20 grams of suspected marijuana and more than 10 pounds of suspected methamphetamine.
The driver was identified as 33-year-old Demetria Gray and her passenger was 34-year-old Shawnunique Phillips, both of St. Louis.
Police arrested both women and took them to the Posey County Jail.
Gray faces charges of Dealing Meth, Possession of Marijuana, and Driving While Suspended.
Phillips was charged with only possession of pot.
