The suspects allegedly pointed a gun out their window on the Wendell Ford Expressway

Owensboro Police arrested three men and confiscated numerous guns, illegal drugs, and cash. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:

The OPD says Central Dispatch was alerted on Monday about two vehicles on the Wendell Ford Expressway driving recklessly with occupants in one vehicle pointing a firearm at the other.

While trying to find the vehicles involved, officers were dispatched to a crash involving one of the cars at Frederica and 25th streets.

Police says officers stopped the second vehicle at another location.

Officers say they recovered multiple loaded firearms -- including an AK47 pistol -- numerous loaded magazines, hydrocodone pills, marijuana, and a large sum of money.

Police arrested three suspects: 31-year-old Preston Williams of Owensboro, 26-year-old Tyler English of Owensboro, and 30-year-old Aaron Dixon of Hartford, Kentucky.

They each face a long line of charges, including drug trafficking and wanton endangerment.

Williams was previously charged with murder and manslaughter.

All three were taken to the Daviess County jail.
