A popular Evansville bar and music venue is on the market. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:
Owner Amy Word is selling Lamasco Bar and Grill on W Franklin St. for just over $1 million.
On her Facebook page, Word says the sale includes the business entity, property, and lot.
Word purchased the historic bar almost 15 years ago, and says she’s ready for a “big leap.”
She says “I’m jumping off and I can’t wait to see where I fly.”
Word was among more than 20 people arrested at the bar last year during a drug investigation.
She faces a felony charge of Maintaining a Common Nuisance for allegedly knowing about narcotics activity at her place of business.
Word pleaded not guilty.
Word also owns Amy’s on Franklin and serves on the EVSC’s Board of Trustees.
