It happened Saturday night at Tri-State Speedway

Police arrested a race car driver at Tri-State Speedway over the weekend – but not for speeding. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:

The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office was called to the race track on Highway 41 Saturday night to investigate a fight between drivers.

The sheriff’s office says a deputy spoke to all parties involved and viewed a video of the altercation.

The deputy then placed 34 year old driver Aric Gentry of Robards, Kentucky into custody and took him to the Gibson County Jail.

Gentry was charged with Battery and bond was set at $1300.

There was no word of any medical treatment related to the fight.
