Kentucky State Police have arrested a former Owensboro Public School superintendent. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:
The KSP says Matthew Constant was arrested Thursday afternoon in Owensboro on charges of sexual solicitation of minors.
The agency says its investigation began in May, when allegations were made about a relationship involving Constant and a student.
The Owensboro school district suspended Constant when the allegations surfaced.
The KSP says the probe led to search warrants for Constant’s electronic devices and the investigation stretched into other states.
Constant is charged with Procuring or Promoting the Use of a Minor and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
The KSP says additional charges are likely.
Constant is being held in the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro.
