Warrick County Sheriff's Office
Keyvan Shamaal Fellows

Keyvan Shamaal Fellows escaped from a Warrick County sheriff's deputy over the weekend

The Warrick County Sheriff says a man who escaped police custody has been captured in Evansville. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

Sheriff Michael Wilder announced that Keyvan Fellows was arrested in the 700 block of S. Governor Monday afternoon.

Wilder says the U.S. Marshals Task Force helped take Fellows into custody.

Fellows, who was wanted for a parole violation, now faces an additional charge of escape after authorities say he got away in handcuffs Saturday morning near the Warrick Trail Apartments.

After he fled, authorities said he might be headed to Vanderburgh County.

Fellows is now being held without bond.
