Two people have died in an apparent murder-suicide in Henderson. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
Henderson Police responded to the 800 block of Letcher Street during the noon hour Wednesday in reference to two people being shot.
The HPD says when officers arrived, they found two victims lying on a front porch with gunshot wounds.
One of them was pronounced dead at the scene. An ambulance took the other to Deaconess Henderson Hospital where they died a short time later.
The HPD says its investigation has concluded the incident was a murder-suicide and there is no danger to the public.
The Henderson County Coroner’s Office is expected to release the victims’ names Thursday.
