An Owensboro teen is dead and another is in custody, charged with murder. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
Authorities say 16-year-old Gaymee Paw was shot to death on Willet Road near Ben Hawes State Park on Wednesday.
A medical examiner said the girl died from a gunshot wound to the head.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect in Paw’s death, a 16-year-old boy, faces charges of murder, tampering with evidence, and possession of a gun by a minor.
The boy’s name has not been released.
He was taken to a juvenile detention center in Bowling Green.
