A 12-year-old boy was flown from Henderson County to an Evansville hospital after an accidental shooting. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
It happened Thursday in the 13,000 block of U.S. 41 in Robards.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office said the boy suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach.
He was treated at the scene and then airlifted to Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.
There was no word on his condition.
The boy, whose identity hasn’t been released, was reportedly taking target practice with adult supervision when the accidental shooting occurred.
