Telehealth Spaces to be Offered at EVPL

Source: EVPL

Space and equipment for virtual doctor appointments will be available at 4 branches

Telehealth may be coming to a library near you. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library says it’s collaborating with USI and Deaconess Clinic to provide access to library space and equipment for virtual doctor appointments.

EVPL CEO-Director Scott Kinney says providing spaces for telehealth will help remove barriers to access.

Four EVPL locations will have the space and technology available starting next week: Central, North Park, Oaklyn, and Red Bank.

The hours of availability differ from library to library.

A space can be reserved by calling 812-428-8200.

More information can be found on EVPL’s website.

The project is supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, as part of a nearly $3.7 million award.
