An Evansville man is receiving clemency from the Biden Administration. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
Aaron Courter of Evansville is among 31 non-violent offenders seeing their federal sentences reduced to match current guidelines.
Courter was sentenced in 2017 to 87 months in federal prison plus three years of supervised release for Conspiracy with Intent to Distribute 500 Grams or More of Methamphetamine.
His sentence has now been commuted to end June 30th with the remainder to be served in home confinement, leaving intact the three-year term of supervised release.
Another Tri-State resident, Vickie Sanders of Olney, Illinois, also had her sentence reduced for manufacturing meth.
