Old National Bank has released a statement following Monday's shooting at a Louisville branch that killed five employees. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
The CEO of the Evansville-based bank, Jim Ryan, says “there are no words to adequately describe the sadness and devastation that our Old National family is experiencing.”
Ryan says bank employees are grieving the tragic loss and praying for the recovery of all those who were injured.
The statement says Ryan and other Old National leaders spent much of Monday in Louisville offering support to affected individuals and their families.
Bank officials pledged to remain on hand to provide support in the days ahead.
Police shot and killed the suspected shooter identified as a bank employee who entered the bank before it opened for the day and started firing a rifle.
