Live Cam Tracking Jail Construction

File

Ground was broken in October for the new law enforcement center

A live camera is tracking the construction of a new Gibson County jail. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:

The sheriff’s office says it’s installed the live cam overlooking the construction zone on E Brumfield Ave., just behind the existing jail in Princeton.

Gibson County Sheriff Bruce Vanoven says residents can see what’s going on at the site and even view time-lapse clips of the past several days.

Residents can access the cam at GibsonCountySheriff.com. Just click the "Jail Construction Camera" tab on the left side of the home page.

Gibson County Commissioners approved the $30 million project last summer. Ground was broken in October.

The new facility will include the sheriff’s office and Gibson County Central Dispatch, in addition to the jail.
