A young man accused of a double shooting in Vanderburgh County is out of the hospital and in jail. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
18-year-old Austin Ousley was booked in the Vanderburgh County Jail Tuesday afternoon.
He faces a murder charge for the February 27th shooting at a vacant house on Cypress Dale Road.
The sheriff’s office says Ousley is being held without bond.
He’s accused of the gunfire that killed 36-year-old Shawn Wildt and critically wounded Shawn's brother, 42-year-old Chad Wildt.
Police say Ousley later shot himself at the Rural King on Morgan Avenue and has been hospitalized.
Investigators say a teen whom was with Ousley said the suspect was armed with a pistol during the shooting on Cypress Dale Road.
