Police have arrested a Mt. Vernon man accused of child molesting. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
Indiana State Police say 53-year-old Jorge Cesar Gonzalez is accused of molesting a 14-year-old girl last July at an undisclosed location in Orange County.
The ISP says it launched a criminal investigation this month after learning of the allegation.
After reviewing the investigation, the Orange County Prosecutor’s Office issued an arrest warrant for Gonzalez.
The ISP says officers arrested Gonzalez without incident at his place of employment in Mt. Vernon Thursday afternoon.
He was taken to the Posey County Jail and was expected to be transferred to the Orange County Jail.
Gonzalez faces one count of Child Molesting, a Level 4 Felony.
