The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office says 30-year-old Jimmy Lee Royalty died about 12 hours after the crash.

Evansville Police were alerted to a wrong-way driver on the Lloyd at about 1:30 Sunday morning, and a short time later found two vehicles had collided head-on near Main St.

A police report said Royalty was pulled from his car unconscious.

A woman pulled from the other vehicle reportedly had severe injuries to her legs. There was no word her identity.
