The supercenter was closed nearly a week following the gunfire

Evansville’s West Side Walmart has reopened following last week’s shooting. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

Walmart says its supercenter at 335 S Red Bank Road opened to customers Wednesday, six days after the shooting that seriously wounded employee Amber Cook.

Police fatally shot the suspect, 25-year-old Ronald Mosley II, inside the store.

Officials say Cook is recovering from her injuries.

Walmart says news media are not allowed inside the reopened supercenter and its associates are not available for interviews related to last Thursday’s incident.
