Authorities have released the identity of the man who died in a grain bin accident in Posey County. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
The Posey County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 74-year-old Steven Grabart.
The coroner said Grabart died after he became trapped inside a grain bin in the 900 block of Bellefountaine Cemetery Road Thursday afternoon.
On its Facebook page, Black Township Fire and Rescue thanked all the agencies who took part in the rescue effort.
Black Township said the outcome was not what everyone was hoping for but “no one gave up trying to do everything they could to help someone in need.”
The fire department offered prayers for everyone involved.
