Authorities have released the name of an Evansville man killed in a head-on crash on I-69. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 64-year-old Berneard Fleming Sr.
He died at the scene of the crash on I-69 near Boonville New Harmony Road Friday evening.
The sheriff’s office said a preliminary investigation determined one vehicle crossed the median and struck another vehicle head-on in snowy conditions.
Scott Township firefighters were called to extricate passengers from one of the vehicles involved.
The coroner’s office said an autopsy would be conducted to determine the cause of Fleming’s death.
