A person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in northern Vanderburgh County. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
Volunteer firefighters were dispatched to the 18,000 block of Old Princeton Road, north of Hilltop Road, at about 8:20 Thursday morning.
First responders found a vehicle upside down in a ditch, submerged in water.
An Evansville Fire Department water rescue team was also dispatched to the scene.
Crews eventually recovered a body from the vehicle.
There’s no word yet on the victim’s identity.
The investigation closed Old Princeton Road in that area for a while.
