A mother and daughter are dead after a crash in Dubois County. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
Indiana State Police identified the victims as 44-year-old Julie Schnell and 13-year-old Alayna Schnell.
Another daughter, 15-year-old Addison Schnell, was taken to a Louisville hospital in stable condition.
The Dubois County Sheriff told media outlets Schnell’s car collided with a semi on State Road 64 between St. Anthony and Birdseye, Thursday morning.
The driver of the semi was taken to an Evansville hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Drugs and alcohol were not believed to be factors in the tragedy.
An investigation continues.
