A Warrick County sheriff’s deputy has been arrested, accused of rape. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Evansville Police arrested Deputy Vance Stuckey on two preliminary charges of Rape.
Warrick County Sheriff Mike Wilder says he placed Stuckey on administrative leave pending an internal investigation.
Sheriff Wilder said he was disturbed by the allegations but had no further comment.
Wilder emphasized that administrative leave is commonly instituted when an officer has been accused of a crime.
