Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal crash in Warrick County as an Evansville man. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The Warrick County coroner says 30-year-old Patrick Stucki died in Tuesday afternoon’s fiery crash at State Road 662 and Stacer Road.
Coroner Sarah Seaton says a preliminary investigation indicates neither drugs nor alcohol were a factor in the accident.
It’s believed that Stucki suffered a medical emergency while behind the wheel of a vehicle in the drive-thru of a Subway sandwich shop.
The vehicle left the Subway parking lot and crashed into a nearby residential building.
Investigators say the building caught fire before Stucki could be removed from the vehicle. He died at the scene.
A man inside the building escaped without injury.
