Authorities have released the identity of the man who died in a work-related accident last week. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office says 41-year-old Travis Lee Burkett of Evansville died in the accident on Friday.
The sheriff’s office said Burkett was working for a tree trimming service in the 14,300 block of Bickmeyer Road when he became pinned between two pieces of equipment.
Scott Township firefighters attempted life-saving measures but couldn’t revive Burkett.
The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate.
