Authorities have released the identity of the man killed in an accidental shooting in Henderson. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
The Henderson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 45-year-old William Harston.
Authorities say Harston had purchased a gun at River City Pawn on the Henderson strip on Thursday.
He was loading the gun in his pickup truck when it discharged.
The coroner’s office said Harston died of a gunshot wound to the chest.
The coroner ruled the death accidental.
