Authorities have released the names of the two people killed in a crash in Posey County Tuesday night. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
Sheriff Tom Latham says the crash on West Franklin Road, just south of State Road 62, claimed the lives of Christopher Wagner and Justus Ricketts.
A passenger in the pickup truck, Daniel Powell, survived the crash and was taken to a hospital.
Latham said the truck was headed north when the driver failed to negotiate a curve and the car hit an embankment and crashed into trees.
The impact ejected two people from the truck and left one trapped inside.
An investigation continues.
