Authorities are investigating a fatal hit-and-run in western Kentucky. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
Hopkins County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of Tippet Road, just north of Hanson, shortly before 1:00 Wednesday morning.
Deputies found a man lying in the roadway, deceased.
The victim was identified as 30-year-old Zachary Higgins.
The sheriff’s office says investigators determined that Higgins had been struck by an unknown vehicle, which had left the scene.
Deputies were able to recover parts of the vehicle.
