The search for a missing Evansville woman has come to a sad end in western Kentucky. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
The McLean County Sheriff’s Office says the remains of Elza Kolle were recovered from the Green River Wednesday afternoon.
The 28-year-old Kolle went missing after her car crashed into the Green River Bridge on U.S. 431 late Saturday night.
First responders safely found Kolle’s young son at the site but his mother ended up in the water.
On its Facebook page, the McLean County Sheriff’s Office thanked the agencies that assisted in the search and asked everyone to pray for Kolle’s family and friends.
